Context:
The relatively small horns and snout of this double-headed headdress give visual emphasis to an elegantly seated female who epitomizes the qualities of beauty and dignity. Carved in low relief at the sides are representations of kpeli-yebe masks -- another Senufo art form in praise of beautiful women.
