Subject Description: Nocturnal view of shoppers at the Onion Market, Lyme Regis, England
Context: Drawing produced by Whistler in Lyme Regis. Transferred and printed by Way in London.Whistler made revisions between states directly on the original stone, presumably at Way's offices after returning to London in late 1895. He had probably not finished these revisions by the end of the year.
