Context: Gudrun Baudisch, like Vally Wieselthier, worked at the Wiener Werkstätte Ceramic Workshop during the late 1920s. She also designed textiles produced by the Wiener Werkstätte. In addition, she designed ceramics for other firms and had her own studios in Vienna and Berlin during the 1930s and 1940s.
