Inscriptions: Inscription (in kufic script): "Blessings from Allah to the owner of the goblet. Drink!"
Description: This goblet belongs to a distinctive group of glass vessels with scratch-engraved decoration that share stylistic and decorative similarities. Some objects bear inscriptions, such as the kufic calligraphy on this goblet that reads, "Blessings from Allah to the owner of the goblet. Drink!" Formulas including good wishes were commonly found on eating and drinking vessels in both pottery and glass.
