Description: Thick walled basketry storage container (a) with conical lid (b).

a) Truncated ovoid body of fiber bundle wefts wrapped with 4 strand, braided fiber wraps moving vertically from base; thick, wrapped fiber ring foot around four braided fiber rings; body narrows to rim at shoulder with 2 dividing braided fiber bands; interior and exterior above bands covered with pitch; rawhide strap just below shoulder band on each side; flat strap with brown hair on inside surface looped through each strap.

b) Conical lid constructed like body starting at top; lip fitting into container slightly constricted, sectioned from upper area by thick; horizontal braided band; remains of pitch on exterior lip and interior.
