I recall the Ch'in-huai region where long ago we got together to search for plum blossoms, so I paint this and ask for his instruction. Ch'ing-hsiang Shih-t'ao Chi tao-jen [seals] Yüan-chi; Shih-t'ao. 12 artist's seals, 2 on each of the remaining 6 leaves: Shih-t'ao; Yüan-chi. trans. LYSL/HK/WKH2 colophons and 15 additional seals: 1 colophon, dated 1937, and 1 seal of Wu Hua-yüan; 1 colophon, dated 1938, and 2 seals of Wu hu-fan; 1 seal of Wang Chi-ch'ien (20th c.); 11 seals unidentified.
