A reworking of 'Spem in Alium' (1575) by Thomas Tallis. The forty voices are grouped into eight choirs of five voices. Each voice was recorded separately and is played back through a single loudspeaker. The piece was recorded by the Salisbury Cathedral Choir, and was originally commissioned by the Salisbury Festival.
